15 hours Practice Nursing/15 – 22.5 hours Community Staff Nurse DCHS


An opportunity has arisen to recruit to a new innovative role as an Integrated Practice/Community Staff Nurse to join our existing Integrated Nursing Team


Newbold Surgery are currently piloting Integrated Nursing with our Community Nursing Team and are looking at the potential for an Integrated Nurse Role employed by Newbold Surgery (part funded by DCHS)


The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with Community Nursing experience. You will need enthusiasm and a willingness to develop this new and evolving role work being part of a forward thinking Multidisciplinary Integrated Nursing Team.


Practice Nursing experience is not essential however the candidate should be willing to undertake and commit to attending the BSc/PG Cert Practice Nursing Qualification within the first year of the post based at De Montfort University Leicester or have previous Practice Nursing and or Community Nursing Experience.


Dependant on how the post evolves hours will be 30 – 37.5hrs – 7 day week to include cover for Community Newbold/Whittington Moor Surgery (weekend and Bank Holidays on a rotational basis) 15 hours will be General Practice Nursing at Newbold Surgery


Remuneration is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Please note that the Practice uses Agenda for Change pay scales as a guide and does not adopt Agenda for Change terms and conditions. The Salary Scale will be Newbold Surgery Band 5
